Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - A pinch of salt
02 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
06 - 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
07 - 3 tablespoons regular sugar
08 - 4 peaches, really ripe, split in half and pit taken out

# Instructions:

01 - Once it’s out of the oven, let it cool down for about 10 minutes. Enjoy them while they're still warm.
02 - Take the foil off for those last 5 minutes so the tops get a bit caramelized.
03 - Throw some foil loosely over your baking dish, then bake for about 25 to 30 minutes. You want the peaches nice and soft, and a sweet syrup hanging around.
04 - Splash some lemon juice over the top, then give it a hit of salt.
05 - Shake that cinnamon-sugar mix all over the cut sides of the peaches.
06 - Pour the melted butter along with the vanilla right over every peach half.
07 - Grab a small bowl and toss in your brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon. Give it a quick stir so it’s mixed up nicely.
08 - Lay all your peach halves with the cut side looking up right into your baking dish.
09 - Cut your peaches in half and pop out those pits. You can peel the skins if you like things extra smooth.
10 - Get your oven hot at 190°C or 375°F before you start doing anything else.

# Notes:

01 - Try tossing in chopped walnuts or pecans before everything goes in the oven if you’re after some crunch.
02 - Scoop some vanilla ice cream or add a big spoon of Greek yogurt on these peaches for an awesome treat.
03 - Go for super-ripe peaches—they’ll taste sweet and smell great.
04 - Makes a chill dessert or throw it on granola and call it breakfast.
