01 -
Stir the yeast, sugar, and warm milk in a big bowl. Wait a few minutes until it gets foamy.
02 -
Mix together the yeast mixture with the bananas, melted butter, salt, and eggs. Make sure everything is combined well.
03 -
Add the flour bit by bit, mixing until you get a dough. Knead it for about 10 minutes on a board with some flour sprinkled on it.
04 -
Put the dough in an oiled bowl and cover it. Let it sit for roughly an hour in a warm area until it’s doubled in size.
05 -
Mix the softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
06 -
Roll the dough into a rectangle about 20x14 inches on a floured counter. Spread the filling and sprinkle the walnuts evenly on top, if you’re using them.
07 -
Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log. Slice it into 12 pieces and position them in a pan that’s been greased.
08 -
Cover the rolls and let them puff up again for another 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
09 -
Pop the rolls into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they’re golden on top.
10 -
Using a mixer or spoon, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla until creamy. Spread the icing on the warm rolls.
