Honey Garlic Butter Salmon Foil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Salmon

01 - About 1.1 kg salmon side, leave the skin, pull out the pin bones
02 - 80 ml runny honey
03 - Cracked black pepper, as much as you like
04 - Fresh flat-leaf parsley, 2 tbsp chopped up
05 - Juice squeezed from half a lemon, roughly 30 ml
06 - Salt as needed
07 - 4 or 5 lemon rounds to finish
08 - 55 g plain butter
09 - 4 big garlic cloves, smash them up

# Instructions:

01 - Lift the salmon onto a plate or serving board. Scatter with parsley, place those lemon slices over the top, and dig in while it’s hot.
02 - Pop the foil open so the top of the fish is uncovered. Watch out for the steam. Broil on medium for 2 or 3 minutes until the top gets toasty and a little golden.
03 - Toss your tray in the hot oven. Bake for about 15 to 18 minutes. The cooking time depends on how thick your salmon is and how well-cooked you want it. You want the fish to look just cooked and turn opaque.
04 - Fold the foil sides up and around the salmon. Close the packet snug so nothing leaks out.
05 - Place the salmon skin-down on the foil-lined tray. Drizzle all that honey garlic butter on top. Use a spoon or brush to coat the whole fish. Sprinkle with salt and plenty of pepper.
06 - Melt the butter in a small saucepan on low. Dump in honey, smashed garlic, and lemon juice. Stir until the honey melts in and everything’s mixed well.
07 - Set your oven to preheat to 190°C with the rack in the middle. Lay a big piece of foil over a baking tray so there’s enough to wrap all around the salmon.

# Notes:

01 - If your fish is too big for a single foil sheet, just lay two on top of each other and fold to seal—stops any drips.
