After baking, let it hang out for 5 to 10 minutes. It'll be easier to slice and won't fall apart as much.

Pop it in the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. Top should get a little golden and middle should be firm.

Dump everything into the dish you greased earlier. Smooth out the top so it bakes evenly.

Toss in the onion, bacon or ham if you're using, chopped veggies, and all the cheese. Sprinkle in your salt and pepper too.

Grab your big bowl and whisk together the eggs and milk until it all looks blended.

Turn your oven up to 190°C. Coat a 23-centimetre pie or baking dish with a bit of grease to keep things from sticking.
