Cheesy Pasta Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Key Items

01 - 10 oz of pepperoni slices
02 - 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1 lb of dry penne pasta
04 - 3 cups (24 oz jar) of marinara sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 375°F. Move a rack higher up for better browning on top.
02 - Fill a big pot with water and salt it generously. Boil the penne, but stop cooking it 2 minutes earlier than the instructions say on the box. Drain it once it's ready.
03 - Pour the drained pasta back into the pot. Toss in the marinara and a handful (about 1/3) of the pepperoni slices. Stir it all until the pasta is covered nicely.
04 - Spoon the pasta mix into a 9x13 dish, making sure it’s level. Scatter the mozzarella cheese across the top, then layer the leftover pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
05 - Leave it uncovered and bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is gooey and melted. Switch to broil for a few mins (2-3) to get a crispy, golden topping. Stay alert to avoid burns!

# Notes:

01 - Serves 6 to 8 people, making it a great fit for family meals.
02 - Want a juicier dish? Add 1/2 to 1 cup extra marinara sauce.
03 - Pepperoni sizes differ, so you might need two packs to get 10 oz. Having a bit more or less works fine!
