Juicy Cheeseburger Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sliders

01 - 12 slider buns
02 - 12 slices cheddar cheese
03 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
06 - 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
07 - 500 g ground beef

→ Toppings

08 - Mustard, add as much as you like
09 - Ketchup, smother as you prefer
10 - 1 small red onion, sliced super thin
11 - 2 medium tomatoes, cut into rounds
12 - 6 crisp lettuce leaves, ripped up to fit

# Instructions:

01 - Put the finished sliders on a plate and eat them right away, while they're still nice and warm.
02 - Finish by capping every slider with the upper half of the bun.
03 - Generously slather ketchup and mustard on the tops of the buns.
04 - Throw on lettuce pieces, some tomato slices, and a bit of red onion over each patty.
05 - Set a cheesy burger onto each bun bottom.
06 - Slice the buns and lay them cut-side-down on your grill to get that golden crisp.
07 - When the patties are almost done, add the cheddar right on top so it melts in the last minute.
08 - Cook your burgers for about 3 or 4 minutes on each side or until they're as done as you like.
09 - Grab handfuls of meat and make 12 small, tight patties out of it.
10 - Toss your ground beef in a big bowl with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until it's all combined.
11 - Get your grill or a griddle going on medium heat before you start cooking.

# Notes:

01 - If you want juicier burgers, make sure your beef has at least 20% fat.
02 - Mix in a bit of Worcestershire, some finely chopped onions, or even grated cheese to the meat if you want more flavor.
03 - Try mixing up the toppings—throw in pickles, crispy bacon, sliced avocado, or swap in a different cheese.
04 - Don’t cook the sliders too long or they’ll end up dry and tough.
05 - Skip the grill if you want—pop the patties in the oven at 175°C for about 15 minutes instead.
