Meaty Pizza Tortellini (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Half a medium yellow onion, chopped small
02 - 1 teaspoon seasoning mix (Italian-style)
03 - 12 oz tortellini noodles
04 - Two cups of shredded mozzarella
05 - 24 oz jar of pizza sauce
06 - Half a pound of ground sausage, Italian type
07 - 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
08 - Optional: Pepperoni slices
09 - 1/2 cup of cooked, crumbled bacon
10 - 1 tablespoon cooking olive oil
11 - 1 pound of ground beef

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the directions on the package to cook the tortellini. Once ready, drain it and leave it aside.
02 - Add a splash of olive oil to your skillet on medium-high. Toss in the onion and stir until soft. Mix in the sausage and beef, breaking them apart while they cook. Once browned, toss in the garlic and seasoning. Drain any extra grease, then put it back on the stove and mix in the cooked bacon.
03 - Pour the pizza sauce over the meat mixture and give it a good stir. Add the cooked tortellini carefully and let it all warm together over low heat.
04 - Sprinkle the mozzarella all over, then place pepperoni slices as you like on top. Cover and let it sit until the cheese melts. No heat needed at this step.
05 - Serve right away while it’s nice and warm. Add some chopped fresh herbs if you’re feeling fancy.
