# Ingredients:

01 - 1 g salt
02 - 5 ml vanilla extract
03 - 12 g baking powder
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 240 ml whole milk
06 - 115 g unsalted butter, soft
07 - 200 g granulated sugar
08 - 240 g all-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Let it sit in the pan for a bit before you cut and share with everyone.
02 - Pop it on the middle oven rack and bake around 30-35 minutes. Stick a toothpick in the center, and if it comes out clean, you're good.
03 - Tip your batter into a pan you've already greased so nothing sticks.
04 - Add the dry stuff bit by bit to the wet stuff, pour in the milk in turns. Stir just until you can't see dry flour.
05 - Grab another bowl, toss in the flour, salt, and baking powder, then whisk to blend.
06 - Crack in one egg at a time, whipping well after each, then mix in the vanilla.
07 - In your big bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until it's all creamy and light.
08 - Set your oven to 175°C so it can heat up while you prep everything.
