Juicy Air Fryer Ribeye (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ribeye steak (~1 ½ inch thick), at room temperature
02 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
03 - ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Take your ribeye out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F for 5 minutes. Season both sides of the steak generously with kosher salt and black pepper.
02 - Place the seasoned ribeye in the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes at 390°F. Flip the steak over and cook for an additional 6 minutes for a perfect medium-rare finish.
03 - Remove the steak from the air fryer basket and transfer to a plate. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Top with a pat of butter or your favorite steak toppings before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Starting with room temperature steak is crucial for even cooking.
02 - If your steak comes straight from the refrigerator, add a few extra minutes to the cooking time to achieve medium-rare.
