Effortless Korean Beef Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - Sesame seeds, to sprinkle on top
02 - 600 g hot cooked white rice (short grain or jasmine work great)
03 - 4 green onions, thinly sliced (save some tops for sprinkling)
04 - 0.5 g red chili flakes, add as much as you like
05 - 10 ml toasted sesame oil
06 - 60 ml soy sauce or tamari if you want it gluten free
07 - 60 ml packed brown sugar
08 - 1 tablespoon ginger, grated fresh
09 - 3 garlic cloves, minced small
10 - 450 g lean ground beef

# Instructions:

01 - Let your beef bowls chill for about 5 minutes so the rice soaks in all the tasty goodness before enjoying.
02 - Scoop your cooked rice into bowls first, then pile the saucy beef right on top. Scatter over the sliced green onions and finish with a shake of sesame seeds. Toss on those reserved onion tops if you like it bright.
03 - Mix the minced garlic and grated ginger into the browned beef. Pour in the sweet and salty sauce, mix everything, and let it bubble on the stove a few minutes to pull all the flavors together.
04 - Grab your skillet, crank up to medium-high, and toss in the ground beef. Chop it up with a wooden spoon while it cooks till it’s lost all its pink color and looks tasty.
05 - Make rice however you like—just follow what the rice pack says. Chop your garlic fine, grate that ginger, and in a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, soy or tamari, sesame oil, and those chili flakes.

# Notes:

01 - Letting your bowls sit a few minutes helps the rice really soak up every bit of flavor.
