Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray baking dish with non-stick spray. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Combine brown sugar, water, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Place chicken in baking dish and pour brown sugar sauce over top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches internal temperature of 165°F.

Serve chicken with pan sauce drizzled over top. Can also be served over pasta or rice.
