Effortless Taco Bell Nacho Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fries

01 - Vegetable oil for frying
02 - 450 g bag frozen extra-crispy French fries

→ Seasoning Mixture

03 - 2 tablespoons paprika
04 - 2 teaspoons regular salt
05 - 2 teaspoons chili powder
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 0.25 teaspoon cayenne (skip if you like things mild)

→ Cheese Sauce

09 - 16 slices of American cheese, torn up
10 - 1 tablespoon liquid from pickled jalapeños
11 - 60 ml whole milk

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a little bowl and stir together the salt, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. It doesn't take long, just mix so everything's really combined.
02 - Fill a deep pot with oil, making sure it's at least 7.5 cm deep. Turn up the heat until the oil hits 180°C. Wait for it to get nice and hot.
03 - Carefully drop a handful of the frozen fries into the hot oil. Fry them for about 6 to 8 minutes. When they're crispy and golden, fish them out using a slotted spoon and let them drain on some paper towels.
04 - Tear those cheese slices into smaller pieces. Toss them into a bowl with milk and jalapeño brine. Pop the bowl in the microwave, heat in 30-second bursts, and stir every time until it’s all smooth and melted together.
05 - While your fries are still warm, put them in a big bowl. Sprinkle your spice blend all over and toss so every fry gets coated.
06 - Pile the seasoned fries onto your platter. Serve them up hot with plenty of gooey cheese sauce on the side for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - It’s key to keep your oil hot while frying or you’ll lose that crispy edge. Fries are the best right after cooking, so don’t wait around to eat them.
