Easy 10 Minute Healthy Tzatziki Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tzatziki Sauce

01 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (nonfat, reduced fat, or full-fat)
02 - ½ English cucumber (about ⅔ cup), seeds removed, diced
03 - 2 teaspoons olive oil
04 - 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
05 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest
06 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic (about 1 clove)
07 - ¼ cup fresh chopped dill
08 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
09 - ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Place the diced cucumber in a strainer over a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and let sit for a few minutes to remove excess moisture. Pat dry with a paper towel.
02 - In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
03 - Top with additional fresh dill, black pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve cold with pita chips, naan, or fresh veggies.

# Notes:

01 - Use an English cucumber for less water content and easier dicing.
02 - For best flavor, use fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh dill.
03 - Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
