Use a spatula to lift out your toasts and eat right away.

If you’re tossing on cheese, scatter it over the eggs during the last 1–2 minutes in the air fryer.

Arrange the prepped bread in the air fryer basket, lay down some parchment if you want. Set the timer for 4–7 minutes, depending on how runny or set you like your yolks.

Add a pinch of salt and pepper right on top of each egg.

Crack an egg and drop it smack in the middle of each bread piece.

Press down in the center of every slice with a spoon or measuring cup to make a little dip for the egg.

Grease both sides of your bread with butter or go with a quick spray.

Fire up your air fryer at 175°C for a few minutes first (2 to 3 min will do).
