Effortless Air Fryer Egg Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 2 large fresh eggs
02 - 2 fat bread slices (brioche or Texas toast work great)
03 - 2 tablespoons butter (unsalted) or a bit of cooking spray
04 - Some ground black pepper, your call
05 - Just a pinch of salt, as you like

→ Optional Topping

06 - About 3 tablespoons mozzarella or cheddar cheese, shredded

# Instructions:

01 - Use a spatula to lift out your toasts and eat right away.
02 - If you’re tossing on cheese, scatter it over the eggs during the last 1–2 minutes in the air fryer.
03 - Arrange the prepped bread in the air fryer basket, lay down some parchment if you want. Set the timer for 4–7 minutes, depending on how runny or set you like your yolks.
04 - Add a pinch of salt and pepper right on top of each egg.
05 - Crack an egg and drop it smack in the middle of each bread piece.
06 - Press down in the center of every slice with a spoon or measuring cup to make a little dip for the egg.
07 - Grease both sides of your bread with butter or go with a quick spray.
08 - Fire up your air fryer at 175°C for a few minutes first (2 to 3 min will do).
