Filipino Noodles Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups chopped cabbage
02 - 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
03 - 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil (canola or similar)
05 - 1 pound sliced meat pieces (bite-sized)
06 - 1 cup chicken broth
07 - 3 green onions, chopped small
08 - 8.8 ounces rice vermicelli noodles
09 - 1/2 cup thin carrot slices
10 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
11 - Salt and black pepper, use as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the package guide to soak the rice noodles.
02 - Slice the meat and vegetables into even, small pieces so they cook properly.
03 - Warm some cooking oil in a big pan or wok. Toss in the meat, onion, garlic, and soy sauce. Let them cook until the meat gets a nice brown color, about 3 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper while it cooks.
04 - Stir in the chicken broth, chopped cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Let it all simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, mixing here and there until the veggies are tender.
05 - Add the noodles you soaked earlier to the pan with the meat and veggies. Stir well so everything gets evenly mixed. Taste and add more salt or pepper if needed. Serve right away.

01 - Cut all meat and veggies evenly to make sure they cook at the same time and keep a good texture.
