Rinse the asparagus and chop off the woody ends.

Melt butter on low heat in a small pan. Add chopped garlic and let it warm up for a couple of minutes before setting it aside.

Turn the grill to medium-high to get it ready.

Coat the asparagus with olive oil, then sprinkle on salt and pepper.

Place the asparagus spears on the hot grill. Let them cook for about 4-5 minutes, flipping every now and then, until they’re soft and have those nice grill marks.

Take the grilled asparagus off the grill and put them onto a plate. Pour the garlic butter over the top.

Serve your asparagus warm as a tasty side. They work great alongside many dishes!
