Flame-Kissed Asparagus Butter (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - A handful of fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
02 - 4 tbsp butter, unsalted
03 - 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
04 - Season with salt and pepper as desired
05 - A little olive oil for brushing

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse the asparagus and chop off the woody ends.
02 - Melt butter on low heat in a small pan. Add chopped garlic and let it warm up for a couple of minutes before setting it aside.
03 - Turn the grill to medium-high to get it ready.
04 - Coat the asparagus with olive oil, then sprinkle on salt and pepper.
05 - Place the asparagus spears on the hot grill. Let them cook for about 4-5 minutes, flipping every now and then, until they’re soft and have those nice grill marks.
06 - Take the grilled asparagus off the grill and put them onto a plate. Pour the garlic butter over the top.
07 - Serve your asparagus warm as a tasty side. They work great alongside many dishes!

# Notes:

01 - Try different flavors: Add extras like lemon peel, Parmesan shavings, or some chili flakes for a kick.
02 - How to check tenderness: Stick a fork into one. It should be soft enough to bend but not mushy.
03 - Grill like a pro: Grab some long tongs to easily flip and move the asparagus while grilling.
