Easy Garlic Butter Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
02 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
04 - 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
05 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
06 - 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
07 - 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Pepper, to taste
10 - 1 lemon (half for juice, half for slices)
11 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
12 - Optional: 2 cups broccoli florets
13 - Optional: olive oil (for broccoli)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
03 - Place salmon fillets on a greased baking dish. If using broccoli, scatter around salmon and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
04 - Brush salmon generously with garlic butter mixture. Place a lemon slice on top of each fillet if desired.
05 - Bake for 15-20 minutes, until salmon is opaque and flakes easily. Optionally broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden finish.
06 - Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with broccoli, rice, or salad.
