Honeydew Blackberry Basil (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Greens

01 - 1 cup blackberries
02 - 1 medium honeydew melon, diced up
03 - 4 large basil leaves, shredded finely

→ Topping Sauce

04 - 2 teaspoons maple syrup or liquid honey
05 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
06 - ½ teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin)
08 - Sea salt, adjust to your taste

# Instructions:

01 - Cutting the honeydew in two, scrape out the seeds. Slice into smaller strips, then cube those into portions but keep the peel attached. Slide a knife along the skin’s edge to separate. Spread the chunks on a dish with the blackberries arranged around them.
02 - Mix honey (or syrup), lemon juice, olive oil, and poppy seeds all together in one bowl until combined.
03 - Pour the sauce over your salad, scatter the shredded basil leaves, and sprinkle salt right before digging in.

01 - Feel free to prep this salad the day before. Just wait to add the sauce and salt until you're about to eat it so it stays fresh.
