Hot Honey Spicy Mango Margarita (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Mango Puree

01 - 10 ounces mango chunks
02 - ⅓ cup water
03 - 2 tablespoons sugar

→ For the Margarita

04 - 1½ ounces tequila
05 - 1 ounce lime juice
06 - ¾ ounce Cointreau
07 - 1½ tablespoons mango puree
08 - 1 tablespoon hot honey

→ For Garnish

09 - Lime wedges
10 - Chili lime seasoning
11 - Mango chunks

# Instructions:

01 - In a blender, combine the mango chunks, water and sugar. Puree until smooth.
02 - Sprinkle a generous amount of chili lime seasoning on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Turn the glass upside down and slide it around in the chili lime seasoning until the rim is coated.
03 - Carefully fill the prepared glass with ice.
04 - In a cocktail shaker, add the tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, mango puree, and hot honey. Place the cover on top and shake vigorously for 10-20 seconds.
05 - Carefully strain the margarita into the prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge and mango slices coated in chili lime seasoning, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - You can make the mango puree ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
02 - If you can't find hot honey, you can make your own by warming regular honey with a pinch of red pepper flakes.
