Kentucky Butter Cake Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Cookies

01 - 1 box white cake mix
02 - 2 eggs, whisked
03 - 1/3 cup butter, melted

→ For the Glaze

04 - 1/4 cup butter
05 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
06 - 1 tablespoon water
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla

→ For Garnish

08 - Powdered sugar for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
02 - Combine cookie ingredients in large bowl and mix until completely incorporated. Note that dough will be thick.
03 - Using a medium sized cookie scoop or heaping tablespoon, scoop cookies onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 7-8 minutes.
04 - Remove from oven and let cool on cookie sheet for 4-5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack. Repeat until all dough is baked.
05 - Combine the glaze ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat until sugar is dissolved (about 4 minutes), whisking constantly.
06 - Spoon a teaspoon of glaze over each cookie and spread if necessary. Let glaze set, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.

01 - Dough will be thick when mixed
02 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days
03 - Let glaze set completely before adding powdered sugar
