# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 tablespoon red food coloring
06 - 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
07 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Cheesecake Layer

09 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
10 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
11 - 1 large egg
12 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang.
02 - Whisk melted butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, and food coloring. Fold in sifted cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
03 - Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
04 - Pour 3/4 of red velvet batter into pan, top with cheesecake mixture. Drop remaining batter on top and swirl for marbled effect.
05 - Bake 30-35 minutes until center is set. Cool completely, then chill 30 minutes before cutting.
