Taco Bell Nacho Fries Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Frozen Fast Food Fries
02 - Vegetable Oil for Frying

→ For the Seasoning Mixture

03 - 2 teaspoons Salt
04 - 2 Tablespoons Paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
06 - 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
07 - 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional)

→ For the Cheese Sauce

09 - 16 slices American Cheese
10 - 1/4 cup Milk
11 - 1 Tablespoon Liquid from the Jar of Jalapeño Slices

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl stir together your seasoning mixture.
02 - Fill a saucepan with the oil at least 3 inches deep in the pan and heat the oil to 350°F (180°C).
03 - Cook the fries in the hot oil over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 mins or until they are crispy. Then move the fries to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the extra oil.
04 - Let the fries slightly cool, and make the cheese sauce.
05 - Unwrap the cheese and tear the slices into smaller pieces. Place the cheese and the other cheese sauce ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl.
06 - Microwave the mixture uncovered in 30-second intervals, and stir between each interval until the cheese has melted and is well combined with the other ingredients.
07 - Place the French fries in a large mixing bowl and add them to the seasoning mix.
08 - Serve the fries with the cheese sauce on the side and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - You can substitute the jalapeño juice with a splash of hot sauce if you don't have pickled jalapeños.
02 - For a shortcut, you can also bake the frozen fries according to package directions instead of frying them.
