Oreo Balls Chocolate Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 454 g melting chocolate (white, dark, or milk—pick your favorite)
02 - 227 g cream cheese, let it come to room temp so it's soft
03 - 405 g standard Oreo cookies (full package, cream and all)

→ Optional Decorative Toppings

04 - Drizzle of a different chocolate
05 - Colored sanding sugar
06 - Sprinkles for holidays
07 - Extra crushed Oreos

# Instructions:

01 - As soon as you dip the balls, add whatever toppings you like before the chocolate hardens up. Wait for them to set and get firm before you serve or stash them in a container.
02 - Take only a few balls out of the freezer at once so they stay nice and cold. Dip them in your melted chocolate with a fork or dipping tool. Let extra chocolate drip off, then set them back on the lined tray.
03 - While you chill the balls, melt your chocolate in a microwave using short bursts and quick stirs. Or use a double boiler on the stove—just keep stirring till smooth.
04 - Slip those rolled balls in the freezer for about 15 to 20 minutes till they’re good and firm.
05 - Line a baking tray with parchment or a silicone mat. Scoop out about a tablespoon of mix for each piece (aim for 2.5 cm wide). Roll them between your hands so they're round and smooth, then lay them out on your tray.
06 - Move your crushed cookies into a large bowl. Toss in the soft cream cheese and mix it up with an electric mixer until it’s totally blended—no white streaks left.
07 - Toss all the Oreos (even the filling) into a food processor and blitz them into tiny bits. No processor? Fill a zip bag and crush them up with a rolling pin.

# Notes:

01 - Let your cream cheese get nice and soft out on the counter for the smoothest mix.
02 - If your kitchen runs warm, keep popping the balls back in the fridge between dips so they keep their shape.
