In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Season the cod pieces with the mixture of seasoning.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 2 tbsp of butter. Add the cod and cook for 2 minutes.

Lower the heat and gently flip the cod. Add the remaining butter and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Let the butter completely melt and the fish cook. Don't overcook. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
