Toss together jam, diced strawberries, vanilla, sugar, and cream cheese in a bowl. Mix it all up till you see no lumps and everything is mixed in.

Take 4 bread slices and put your filling on them. Place the other slices on top and squish the edges a bit so nothing leaks.

Beat eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a wide bowl until it all looks blended.

Quickly dip each stuffed sandwich in the egg mix so all the sides get soaked. If you want, press into graham crumb coating now too.

Pop some butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Cook sandwiches a couple of minutes per side, until they're crispy and golden all over.

Move sandwiches to some paper towels. Slice, sprinkle on powdered sugar, pile on strawberry slices, and pour honey or syrup over if you like.
