Slow Cooker Mississippi Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix
03 - 1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
05 - 5-6 pepperoncini peppers
06 - Salt and pepper to taste
07 - Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
02 - Sprinkle the Ranch seasoning mix and Au Jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
03 - Add the butter on top of the seasonings and place the pepperoncini peppers around the chicken.
04 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
05 - Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the buttery sauce.
06 - Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

01 - You can adjust the number of pepperoncini peppers based on your preferred spice level.
