Pizza Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter, very soft
02 - 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

→ Sandwich Assembly

05 - 8 slices white bread
06 - 12 slices mozzarella cheese
07 - 6 ounces pepperoni
08 - Warm pizza sauce (for dipping)

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth and combined.
02 - Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over one side of each bread slice. Place the bread slices butter side up on a sheet tray until ready to use.
03 - Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Place one slice of bread butter side down in the skillet. Layer with 1 slice of mozzarella, 6 pepperoni slices, another slice of mozzarella, 6 more pepperoni slices, and a final slice of mozzarella. Top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
04 - Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Repeat with the remaining sandwiches.
05 - Serve immediately with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Cook sandwiches in batches to avoid overcrowding the skillet.
02 - Place finished sandwiches on a wire rack to keep them crispy and prevent sogginess.
03 - Customize with additional ingredients like mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers.
04 - Freeze extras by wrapping them tightly in foil and reheating in the oven.
