Slice the bananas into thin circles and cut the pineapple into similar-sized bits. Leave the syrup in the Mandarin oranges—don’t pour it out.

Toss the chopped fruit and the Mandarin oranges (with syrup) together in a big bowl.

Shake the dry pudding mix evenly over the fruit in the bowl. Don’t mix it with milk like you normally would.

Gently stir the fruit around until the pudding powder coats it all. Pop a lid or wrap over the bowl and stick it in the fridge for no less than an hour.

Spoon the fruit mixture into servings, aiming for about a cup per portion.
